At Wegotcha!, we envision a compassionate community where everyone has access to the support and resources they need, no matter their circumstances. Our mission is simple yet powerful: we bridge the gap between those who want to help and the nonprofits that serve our community. We connect volunteers and donors to impactful opportunities driven by our core values of integrity, compassion, inclusivity, collaboration, and accountability. Together, we strive to create lasting, positive change in our communities.
Our Journey towards Changing the World One Community at a Time.
In 2017, our founders, Jenya & Chris, joined and began organizing volunteers through an InterNations group called ChangeMakers. Moved by the book, "The Life You Can Save" by Peter Singer, their desired efforts grew to a point where they wanted to expand their support of local Charities to increase efficiency and impact.
In September 2021, we officially launched Wegotcha! and began working hard to raise donations, prepare food, and serve meals through local charities.
We began recruiting local restaurants to support our efforts and expanded to supporting The Stewpot and The Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
Keeping our eye on our goal of helping as many families as possible, we are working hard to grow our volunteer and support network and expand our reach.
Our board of directors is comprised of individuals who share our passion for community, compassion, and service.
Influenced by Jenya, his giving friends, and the book by Peter Singer, "The Life You Can Save", Chris has been donating his time and money to support a variety of charities around the Dallas Ft. Worth area. With so much need he, along with Jenya, decided to organize efforts better to have a larger impact.
When it comes to change-making, Jenya follows Chris wherever he goes.
